The zombie apocalypse hits Bloemendal Wine Estate on 31 October for The Galileo Open Air Cinema’s Halloween season starter.
Bringing you a world where the living dead roam the streets, Cape Town’s most magnificent outdoor movie experience presents the 2004 classic horror remake of Dawn Of The Dead.
Directed by Zack Snyder and starring Ving Rhames (Pulp Fiction), this 2004 classic horror remake is not for the faint-hearted. Human civilisation has collapsed and the few remaining survivors must protect themselves against the onslaught of an ever-growing epidemic of zombies.
Décor, dress-up and scary props – The Galileo will be pulling out all the stops for their annual night of horror. Doors to the venue open at 6pm and the movie starts at soon as the sun sets. Arrive early to reserve your spot on the lawn with a comfy backrest and blanket. A delicious spread of food, alcohol, soft drinks and a candy store will be on sale to satisfy your ghastly cravings.
Up your scare game and arrive in your most gruesome outfit – prizes will be awarded to the best dressed. For those coming straight from work, don’t fear, you won’t be left to the ghouls and zombies – an on-site face painting station will be on hand to make a mess of even the most angelic face. Be sure to have your chilling moment captured in the photo booth of horrors.
Book your tickets now for what promises to be a spooktacular evening.
